Jordan Price (21) is a staff writer for Youngspeak. Jordan became interested in sports at a very young age – some of his earliest memories were of watching the Atlanta Braves on television at nights. His father went to UGA, and his mother went to Auburn, so he considers himself a fan of both sides of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, though when forced to choose, he enthusiastically says “War Eagle!”. On the NFL level, Jordan is an avid fan of the New England Patriots and has been since he first started watching football. While the NFL is his favorite sports genre, he does enjoy the NBA and is a long-suffering Atlanta Hawks fan.
Jordan currently majors in political science at Mercer University, with a dual minor in law & public policy and business administration. He does not play any sports and has not since playing tennis in his sophomore year of high school. When not involved in extracurricular activities like Student Government and Mock Trial, he is catching up on NFL/NBA highlights. He enjoys reading sports blogs and researching sports statistics.
Jordan plans on attending law school after completing his undergraduate degree, eventually working as an attorney (possibly criminal law). While he’s not yet sure where he’ll go to law school, what type of law he’ll pursue, and where he’ll wind up living, he knows that he’ll be interested in sports and carry his loyalty to the Patriots with him to whatever city/state in which he lives.
“My favorite ring? I’ve always said the next one. The next one’s the best.”
